After winning one (disappointing) Diplomatic Victory at Civ3, I have abandoned my peaceful ways and now go for the Conquest Victory every time.

If appointed Warlord of the Empire I pledge to rid the world of nogoodniks, ensure that The History Channel shows The Black Sheep Squadron no more than once per day, and I guarantee that the military won't buy any more $25 hammers or $30 toilet seats.

As for running mate, are you interested?

I prefer to be behind the scenes, being the one actually in charge, like the secretary of state, and I want the title changed to "AL Haig Jr."

Gwally, I have seen your fiction, and I imagine the soon to be President Elect could use your talents...He may need a spin doctor. erm, a speech writer.

We all know how busy the soon to be President-Elect is, so I shall try to field all inquiries!

Hmmmm, maybe I'd make a better Attorney General or perhaps National Security Adviser. Yeah, National Security Adviser, that's the ticket!

No, I don't think I would make a good VP. Weasel needs someone with nice hair and well-built to be his running 'mate'. Perhaps Ms. Incredible or Yvonne might be up for the job?

For me, I will be content to be a simple voter, available to be polled. However, if the president calls on me, I would happily serve in whatever trumped-up positon he needs. Homeland Security comes to mind. I would make sure that everyone had nice warm, fuzzy blankets and that there would be at least one network dedicated to showing nothing but Gilligan's Island re-runs.

On second thought, I would love to be his speech writer. I would dedicate myself to making sure the President speaks in complete sentences that express actual thoughts or ideas. I would put the kibosh on sound bites...

Communications Director is offical title for the President's 'Speech Writer'.
