mana potions-help!

I cant seem to buy mana pots from akara or lysander in the single player game and i have just completed act 1. is this normal or is something wrong?? thx for the help!

With the 1.10 patch, you should be able to buy mana potions from both Akrara and Lysander. Have you installed 1.10 properly?

i am unable to install the patches as the system i am playing on does not have the internet. is this my problem?

Not realy a big problem, but then you cant buy mana potions.
You can download the patch on another PC, and then burn it to CDRom, but i finished the game without a patch many times before.

@Acera: Yep, it's only in the 1.10 patch you can buy mana potions from vendours. In all other versions you have to find the mana pots yourself, which is no problem since you find plenty. I still recommend installing the 1.10 patch though, simply because I thought it was more fun and more challenging, so if you wish to try it out I would recommend that you follow Stilgars advice.

Thanks very much to you both, I didnt really have difficulty i was just slightly puzzled as my friends can buy the mana pots from shops. thx!
