Port numbers

The port numbers are listed in the DS readme. Navigate to the DS folder and select the readme. Scroll downward untill you see the port discussion. Lastly this site and other DS site also have info on ports. Enter all listed, over 100 and enjoy DS-online.

Ports

Here you are copied from the readme file for Dungeon Siege.

ZoneMatch Port
· AutoUpdate, Chat, Games List, News: 80 TCP
· 2300 UDP - Primary ZoneMatch Port

Game Session Ports
· 6073 UDP - Primary: Inbound for Hosting, Outbound for Joining
· 2302-2400 UDP - Secondary: Inbound
· 2302-2400 UDP - Secondary: Outbound

Open your firewall setup (i.e. Norton Internet Security setup.) and select firewall. The add button brings up an input panel. All numbers are entered this way. Once entered the entire port list is visable through a secondary window. If you have another or different firewall consult your documentation on how to enter ports.

Ports

Please list the name of your firewall(s) and maybe someone can help. Be specific!

Freedom Firewall

I search the web for Freedom and found http://www.freedom.net.

In their FAQ they said the ports are called "rules" in their setup and you have to set the rules(ports) by application. You should be able to open the internet security select Dungeon Siege and click on it to set the rules(ports). If you still have touble log onto freedom.net and select support and several help avenues are available.

Rules

Internet securitiy usually requires settings for both incommimg and outgoing. If you confirm the port(rule) settings specified by dungeon siege then it begs the question if you have any other active mods running in dungeon siege. If so the attempted sign-inner must have the same mods.

Your problems realy confounds me. I have Norton's Internet Security and all settings match with game specifcantion without any reading-between-the-lines.

I suggest you verify your rule settings and review the flow control selections. Good luck.
