How do I get a Veteran game started in multiplayer. My wife and I have beaten it in Multiplayer(regular) and I beat it single player(regular) and the veteran option is still not open? what gives?

I didn't quite under stand your need. Can you log onto Zonematch? If when you get there import your single player game into zonematch and select the the two option buttons to select the specific difficulty like vetern or elite and the other to select user host options.

To use vetern you must be atleast 63. For elite you must be 83. To get to 63 or 64 in DS single use a minimum of NPC or none in the game. Explore the entire game killing every thing found.

e.g. Cave near the Farmland. The lost path before the Ice Cave. The side paths after the Travelers Camp. The entire swamp. The back loop beyond the entrance to the tunnel of the Fury, The short off path areas in the cliff of fire. The hidden cave next to the Droog city. The maze before EHB. The entire Ehb castle. The entire dungeon including shadowy corners. There are dragons hovering in some places. The loop nearing the Seak lord have five or six dragons. You can go back to the Dungeon store to upgrade armor and weapons. Save the game using an identifer like "Completed Game" or "kens game". Then when you logon into DS online you can identify the correct game name to import.

we beat the game in multiplayer, my wife and I.
I beat the game in single player,

I can't start 'kingdom of ebb' in veteran.

we can start the utraean peninsula and the the expansion in veteran just fine.


when I beat it in regular ( kingdom of ebb ) I wasn't over 63 though. would that keep veteran mode for Kingdom of ebb locked?

Kingdom of Ehb is only playable as Regular difficulty. I suggest you import your player into DS-LOA online and there-by play either DS or LOA or Ehb though LOA online because you can carry everything with you like the backpack. But you can't find the knife for the Trial of Gallus in the online EHB in either game. However their are mods at http://www.dsedit.net or at http://www.overtheedge.com. OE has the most mods but can be confusing to search through. Dsedit has a shorter list of mods and I use most of them to enhance play. The mod to add a 8x17 inventory eliminates the need for a mule. The mod to add LOA items to regular DS allows you to find Utraean armor and weapons. I realy like the Black Steel sword early in the game.
