Taking my love from troll headhunters from wc3, are there going to be throwing spears as a weapon in the game? I would love being a real troll hunter.

There are throwing weapons. I've only seen throwing axes and knives, but I haven't really gotten past the beginner towns since I was only level 19. They might have throwing spears. Blizzards other rpg game, diablo 2 had them. Trolls do get a bonus to using throwing weapons, just like the orcs get a bonus to axes and humans get a small bonus for swords. The thing about throwing weapons is that you have to use them at a distance, when in close combat they don't work and you have to use melee weapons.

That would have been a really cool feature, but I have yet to see any evidence for this being part of the game. I have yet only seen a lvl 20 troll, so I'm still hoping for trolls to be able to throw spears.

Yeah it would be pretty boring if there aint any throwing spears.

I remeber seeing a list of weapons from a site called something like http://www.wowvault.com (or something) and it showed a list of weapons that all the races could use and "trowing spears" was in the Troll's selection, so I think there probably will be.

Right there if you scroll down you can see that the hunter gets spears. It is class based not creature based.

That just says you get to use melee spears (like polearm weapons,) it says nothing about throwing spears. It does say several lines below it that hunters can use thrown weapons, but it just says throwing weapons in general it doesn't say which ones. And, trolls do get a bonus to using throwing weapons. It's one of their racial traits.
