First I will start with the glitch. Im in Nightmare difficulty in Act lll and Im having problems with the second Quest. So i picked up the eye from the spider den, took it to Cain and he talked to me about the heart. So then I check my quest log and it still says to search the spider den for the eye and thats all it says. So I went on grabed the heart and the Brain, and Cain told me infomation about it but the quest has not been updating. So does it matter if the quest it completed to finnish the act?

1 question is what mercinary should i have? Im playing a Druid based on a werewolf build and some minions.

Question number 2. I have a sword that was socketed so I put 2 gems, a fire and ice, and an Ort rune (the lighting one). Does it do all the damage of the elements or just one of them at a time?

I'm not sure why cain talks as he does, I don't recall what he usally says, but regardless if you have the heart, the brain and the eye you should be able to finish the quest.

A weapon socketed with multiple types of damage gems, runes or jewels will get the bonus from all socketings.

@Piff: I have actually never listened to what Cain says, but the entire game works so that you don't need to get a quest in order to solve it, so don't worry. As long as you have all three body parts, you can proceed to Travincle any time you like.

1. I am not a good Druid player, but maybe a Might merc would be good if you have some minions?

2. It deals all the damage at once.
