I personally reccomend Kingdom Of Tenai. Rather a fun mod to play.

Sorry for bringing back such an old post but I actually did the right thing for a change and searched the forum before posting my question and this was as close as I came. I just purchased D2 at the recommendation of the guy at Gamestop. I have been playing for a few days and find the lack of inventory space quite annoying. I believe from reading some of the previous posts that a mod exists to increase this. Could anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

In single player, you can use this application, which also includes a drop calculator and some other handy features:

Besides what CE suggested, there are at least couple of mods that do that.
Just search the list provided here, and look for the mod called "Expanded Stash".
There are others as well, but those tend to change a lot other things as well. Just look for the description to find out which mod you want.

Google "PlugY" and you'll find a mod that increases inventory, cube, and stash space.

I appreciate your help. I looked into both of the websites suggested. I hate to sound picky but are there any that do not require some sort of subscription? A couple of the Mods seemed like they changed a bunch of stuff and added alot. I could be wrong because I'm computer challenged and also very new to the game. The "expanded stash" download sounded pretty basic but I couldn't download it without subscribing.

Fileplanet you mean? You can register without subscribing, it's completely free, you just have to wait in line for more popular downloads.

ATMA does not require any kind of subscription and it does not change anything else in the game.

Thanks. I downloaded the Mod. It helps some but I was hoping for a little more storage but hey beggars can't be choosers right? I did see the free registry when I looked closer. I guess I'm so used to the membership requests for porn sites that I was a little gunshy.

Well, if you want even more storage, my suggestion of using PlugY has that.
That mod introduces pages to your stash, and every single page is the size of the normal "expanded stash" mod's stash, and considering there are 43 billion pages, you'll never run out.
It also introduces Shared Stashes, same number of pages but you can get items in that area for any character (like if you find this uber awesome Wrist Blade for assassins, but you're playing a druid, you can transfer it to the assassin. So it's a little easier, but you still actually have to find it before transferring making it seem like less of a cheat).

You could google that and find thousands dude.
And just so you know, Modding does NOT equal cheating.
