Quest says to save the old man. I killed all the mobs surrounding him and he is still chain healing himself and when I speak to him he says "Help me young one!" over and over. Broken quest or am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Have you tried leaving the area, and returning?

that was reported to alot guys, yep, seems a bug, i dont know solve cause never happen to me, i explain on other post how i do it, i hope if you retry and do that way you dont will have the problem again, but as i say, i dont know the cause of the bug

ya, i've tried exiting the game, re-entering the area. kinda sucks to because i cant get passed this area now =( thanks for the quick replies though =D

Hopefully, they'll get a patch out, soon. I'd personally like to see the Town Portal spell actually work when you reload a game.

If you saved anytime before the bug, an easy way to bypass the bug is to allow the guy to get pounded on for a few seconds, then jump in. I had the bug, and i saved after the bug happened (im retarded) but if you look in your DS2 dir you will see that the game keeps 2 saves in your save folder. current and previous. i loaded up the previous which put me back before the bug occured. I tried this out maybe 10 or so times and actually got past the bug 100% when letting him get beat on a little. When I rushed in, It resulted in the bug happening again more times then not.

yea its a big bug in the game u need to let them finish what they are saying then jump in

Heeheeheee, I got the same bug in my veteran game, and tried to do something for 2 -3 days. Everything sux. I just moved my character to multiplayer game.
