Khartos the Wise

In your journal it says to ask around in Eirulan to find out about Khartos the Wise, the guy in the Mythrilhorn quest. I know you can find him later in the game without any advice, but is there really anybody in Eirulan who tells you about him, or was that just a red herring? I feel like I've talked to everyone in town since getting the quest, and no one mentions him.

There's a woman near the Falls who will say that she hasn't heard of him. I tried approaching her with different companions and at different times, but she never changed her tune.

It may be a red herring (although I haven't experienced any other false leads yet), but I couldn't find any info about him in Eirulan.
Hint:
You can find Khartos the Strong in Kalrathia in Act III, perhaps he knows who Khartos the Wise is.

khartos the strong is khartos the wise, he is just drunk. check the tavern in Kalrathia.

Eirulan people have some info
look, there is many people in Eirulan that say that they never heard of him, but if u ask them about 10 or 15 times they will say that the rumors say that the Khartos (whatever) the WISE (STRONG) is spoted in Kalrathia!
