Has anyone gotten something out of he guy in the last set of staff you pass through that wants to play a MUD-like game? I tried to record my progress but gave up when backtracking did't seem to take me back to where I was before.

i kept falling in a pit, or whacking a bat w/my arrows... ;P i'm wondering how to get through the door at the end (past the 'pillow fight') of that 'dungeon'.
