Act 1 Ghost spirit

As a HC rpg fanatic i tend to search every nook and cranny for items and special stuff. Ive run quite soon into a ghost spirit during act 1 in a quiet cave who, when i tried to talk to it, says me I have to talk to someone in town to teach me how to talk to ghosts. If its a quest that opens up later up then just let me know 
if it doesnt who is the person i have to talk to?
