for some reason i cant download verison 2.2 for dungeon siege II anything would be helpful when i try to download it wont install says tem patch32dll thanks alot ill try to do what you said so thanks again

Problem with update

Funny, I had a problem the first time I tried to install the update on my notebook. So, I did all the usual stuff.
1. Turn off computer for 10 seconds.
2. Run a full antivirus scan.
3. Run a couple of spyware scans.
4. Empty the recycle bin
5. Defrag Drive C: (game is saved here), as well as the drive where DS2 is installed (if not on Drive C )
6. Stop all running programmes -- i.e. the ones in the lower right of your screen.
7. Try again.
8. If that fails, then the next steps may be worth the time and effort to try:

After backing you your Save Game folder:
- Uninstall DS 2
- Defrag your game drive (AGAIN!)
- Reinstall the game
- Delete the downloaded update, and download again

Cross your fingers and try again.
(Your original GameSaves should still OK, but you did make a backup just in case, right?)

I didn't have to do step 8! When I attempted to update my notebook it worked fine. And, the update installed perfectly the first time on my desktop.

when you click on the link to download it, are you selecting to save it or run? you should choose RUN. also, is the download being completed? the file should about 12MB.
