I looked through the threads already and I did not see this addressed if it has been my apologies.

Does anyone know of any work arounds for getting DSII to play using a VIA Techonologies video card. I have the video memory required even though it says I don't and I have Direct X 9.0c but when I try to start up the game it gives me sound and no video. Just a black screen.

Also, If you can't start the game how else can you find out what version of the game you have? I've looked all over the box and I can't find it.

A fresh install from the disks is 2.0, I checked, the patches take you higher.

I'm still looking around for the other thing, maybe someone else will know.
