My Mystery book disappeared ?

When i have piked up the Mystery book i looked in my stash and it whas there and i hade all mystery items ,then i did go down to the mystery cave and did kill all cretures there, and came to the door where i needed the mystery book to open the door and it whas disappeared ?.so ididnt open the door and i went back to my chest in town and went back to the man who gave me the book in the first place and it whasent there....so what the hell do i do now?...it has just
disappeared!!!!!(Sorry for my bad English, iam from sweden
