IM IN LOTHARS HOUSE AND I ONLY HAVE MANTUOKES SKULL. THE PROBLEM IS EVERYTIME LOTHAR FACES ME I DIE, MORTE IS GONE AND I CANT REALLY GET HIM WITHOUT TALKING TO LOTHAR, AND IT SAYS

You need saigo skull (the wererat spy) to make the trade.
The tomb he ask you to find a skull is your own so there is no skull in there.
Morte will be outside the house after the trade.

You're not attacking Lothar when you click on him, are you? That speech about "testing your immortality" only occurs when you enter combat with him.

i think i tried to steal from him though and the comp didnt catch it or something

Do not steal from this guy unless he is upsairs even then it is risky. He is the only guy on the game who can just end you. He is probably one of the best characters on the game and does not get enough screen time

Try applying the 1.1 patch if i remember rightly this addressed some problems....

Lothar is extremely perceptive, and he really doesn't like pickpockets. Stealing is a guarantee of instant death.

thanx for the help. i guess im stuck because i saved over my original game. starting over now.

General rule of conduct, Grasshopper:

In any reality, anywhere, always save a game before pickpocketing somebody dangerous.

Hey Fable, does dangerous count as being able to shoot fire from your eyes, and sweep the field with lighting bolts from your arse?
