dismissing party members

How do i dismiss a party member, i am trying to let vix go in aman'lu so i can get finala.

In the upper left corner of your character page, there is an icon with a red arrow. Clicking that will bring up a dialogue box asking you to confirm that you want to send the character to the inn.
To get them back, talk to the inn keeper.
