Pet skills activation

It may sound a little n00b, but how do i activate any pet skill like eye of storm. I put a point on it and on the wisp. But it doesn't show in the quickbar. And the wisp doesn't activate it. What may i have to do then?

I found that pets (at least a liche king) will use their skills on their own. some skills will only be used when a monster comes very close (or in contact).

very annoyingly so, you have little control over your pets. as in, you can ctrl+click them and click the map to have them go to a certain part. but that's it. they activate thier abilities at thier own will. which isn't always the smartest. i've seen the core dweller use the.. (can't remember the actual name) inferno spell on 1 mob and then go to the other side of the map to face off with a group of 5 guys.
and the lich loves to try to get you into trouble with it's ranged attack :laugh:

i believe all the pets use their skills on their own. sometimes it gets quite annoying when the pets run off somewhere and start attacking on their own.
