I started legendary dificulty yesterday and I am not very far in greece when I realized something : the nasty looking hydra beast on the game cover...I never faced him!! I thought maybe he was found only in legendary or epic like the manticore talos or the dragon lych but i have done everything in epic and didn't found him so if he's there, he's in legendary. Can anyone who cleared legendary can tell me if we ever get to face the multi-headed beast? Thanks in advance.

You've already met him twice - he's at the beginning of Act 3 (on the way to Babylon).

That means I missed him twice!! Can you tell me more exactly where to find him? Is it in the gardens? Or after? I can't believe I missed such a big beast

I believe Xaine is in correct on that. I fought the Hydra in the Aethenian Swamp on legendary difficulty. Hope this helps.

It's only in legendary? It would help a lot if someone could make like a list of bosses and on what difficulty they appear.

I try to remember.

in epic:

Talos waits for you in Knossos
Manticore in a den near Fayum Oasis
Undead Dragon (don't remember his correct name) in a den when you leave Chanang in Act3

in legendary:
Hydra in the Athenian Swamp

those are the special bosses i met so far

yep thats what I got too. I don't think theres more of them ;

where is talos

I found the other uber beasts in epic and legendary but have not found Talos in Knossos-unless he is he is the super robot that lurks right outside the entrance to the labyrinthe

Manticore was by far the hardest IMHO. That beast that is at the end of the temple below the gardens of babylon is also difficult for melee characters. My slayer kept on getting killed almost immediately by it.
