Good melee build for 1.20?

I noticed most of the character build discussions were pre-1.20 patch. I'm looking for suggestions on decent melee builds for the 1.20 game that allow for fun gameplay througout the game (not just once they're maxxed and doint Epic/legendary or PvP).
I tried warfare/storm, and I seem to die a bit (most points in the base skill, as well as onslaught & nimbus). I'm only level 13 or so right now, using a beast shield and stone hammer. Any recommendations on builds/classes, skills, & equipment would be much appreciated, specifically towards melee or melee/caster. Thanks!
