sup everyone,
i have this problem with the game. i bought it a couple days ago so it's brand new. whenever i move the mouse pointer, the screen flickers. i don't know what the problem is, because i have games like oblivion that run perfectly because i have a really nice computer. dungeon siege 2 is really the first game to run with a problem.
anyways, i won't list everything, but my video card is a eVGA 7950 GX2
so please post any suggestions that you might have
thanks

PC too new...!?
Actually that is a known driver problem - at least for newer ATi cards.
Try to update your graphic card driver nethertheless, matters with Geforce cards aren't generally unknown specially when SLI related.

actually, i think i have the most updated drivers, so i doubt that that's a problem, but i'll try reinstalling them.
do you guys know of any other ways to fix it, or do i have to try and return the game?
thanks in advance

I know you said you have latest drivers, but, are you using latest drivers from eVGA? or from Nvidia? I know in some games/cards/hardware combinations, the difference between manufacturers drivers and the chipset makers reference drivers can be significant.
Are you running windowed or fullscreen? I have experienced that type of mouse behavior in other games that I have run windowed. Also, what resolution are you running game at? Maybe lowering it (or raising) might help...

Glad it works

I figured you had an eVGA driver and not an Nvidia.. but, there are times too when manufacturers drivers work better than the reference.
Good that it worked out..cause DS/DS2-BW are imo some of the best games ever made.
