I have a good Earth based caster character, with "Volcanic Orb" + "Summon Core Dwlr" maxed out with little bonus here and there... (level 21)

two issues:

1). I am not sure about "Earth Enchantment" skill: does the fire dmg, does the:
"+x% Fire Damage" means that all attacks made by my fire based staff will increase? or does it works only only melee weapons? does it effect spelled based on fire dmg? pls clarify this properly good sirs.

2). what 2nd mastery should I take? Spirit or Storm? my heart tells me Spirit is much better for caster characters... what do you think?

Fire enchantement DOES raises your fire spells damage (it actually doubles their strength at max lvl) so any fire caster should max it. You will see a massive damage boost if you use volcanic orb.
Spirit and Storm will give you 2 different approach on the game, spirit will boost your basic staff attacks and give you 2 nasty summons, storm will give you more spells, if you love pro-active characters, take storm, if you hate having to cast 435 spells to stay alive, stick to spirit, it's somewhat easier.

i heard that Spirit's "Ternion Attack" is the best skill in the game (until v1.2 that is)... ahh what does Storm gives you in this type of spells?

You summed it up quite nicely :laugh: but yeah if you don't play in 1.2 ternion gonna destroy anything in your path, otherwise, it's good but not THAT much.

Storm will give you ice shard, a powerful, spammable spell that can do an equivalent if not better job than ternion attack. Lightning is nice to have too. The wisp can bring the damage of both those spells quite high too.
Both masteries can give you a strong damage output, the way this damage is dished out is the only difference. Hope this helps ^^
