Conqueror

Hi TQ-players!
I have recently bought titan quest and i could use some help on where to put my skills =)
I almost know where to put them in Warfare, but im not sure about the Defene mastery..i´ll be very glad if someone could answere seriolusly on my question.! i couldent find any page with this information

I've played some defense builds, but never with warfare so you might have to expirement yourself and discover what works of what I suggest.
First off we have the dual wield vs. weapon and shield choice! Thats up to you. Shields are good defense and with defense mastery they become offensive too.
If you do shield I think the passive shield skills would be good if you were wielding say a sabertooth with achilles relic as your main weapon. You would easily hit 180% attack and that means your shield attacks would trigger frequently!
Pulverize with 6 points in it gives you about 20% damage? to 3 enemies in melee range and disrupts skills maybe even stuns? forgot but I know its good!
But maybe you want to dual wield sabertooths haha
The other goodie to get is 1 pt rally and max in resilience! Dump extra points into defensive reaction for extra damage when 'rushing'. but thats not the beauty of resilience/adrenaline. The beauty is any cooldown skills you use WHILE ADRENALINE RUSHING will have a -78% cooldown applied to them. For conqueror that would be good with ancestral warriors and maybe something else? Also good with Rally, Inspiration, Defiance, Shield Slam, Collossos in defense trees.
Those are just some initial thoughts...I'll let a true master player of the conqueror class speak before I spew out any bad information. But those are just my ideas to tide you over while you wait based on what I like from defense!

I have a lvl 47 conqueror right now and I use dual wield cuz i find it more useful than the shield combo. It also doesn't use up as many points than if you go the shield way.
I max armor handling, colossus form, rally, defiance and defensive reaction. I put 6 points in adrenaline and 3 points in the skill above adrenaline that gives you less recharge time. I might reduce the points in adrenaline later on if I find there's something more useful to put those points on. The reason i don't max the skill above adrenaline is because the gains are less each time you put a skill point in and with just 1 point, you get 1/2 of the total bonus. Rally is used to heal and also trigger defiance, which gives some elemental resists and reflect damage. Colossus form is incredibly useful for bosses, you can usually take out most bosses with this really fast. oh and I max defensive reaction because it increase your damage and speed when adrenaline is triggered. My build requires a lot of potions but they're cheap anyways.
I'm currently in epic and i find it easier than normal difficulty so far(i'm at the end of act 2), with the execption of the manticore. I also don't use as much potions, I'm usually sufficient with those i find on the ground. Most of the time, i still rush into mobs and I don't get killed like how all the guides say(maybe its because of my lvl).
I also think that the battle awareness tree is kind of useless, rather get ancestral horn or triumph. hope that helps
question: what does +_%total speed mean? does it include both attack speed and move speed or is it something different?

What you think of total speed is right! It improves attack, cast and move speed.
