Spectral Matter. (Possible Spoiler)

I came across an arcane formulae recently, one of the good ones anyways, and I found one of the ingredients is Spectral Matter, the monster relic you usually find off of those greenish bluish ghost creatures in various places.
I'm wanting to know a couple things. Has anybody else found it on another specific monster? And Is there a place I can go between the beginning of Egypt and all of Greece to find an abundance of these ghosts so I can get spectral matter.
I have all the other ingredients and it's the only one I need left, and it's sadly the rarest.
The only place I've seen so far that has a bunch of the ghosties is the Rhakotis Library, and it has a few, but not many at all (and I hate having to kill everything, restart the game and kill everything over again).

I know you can also get spectral matter from the slime monster in the babylon catacombs. The beginning of act 3. These monsters are also in some places in act 2 i think, in some caves.
Can you tell me the specifics of this artifact? I'm curious to know what you need, and what it does when it is complete!

I forget the name, but it's an artifact that gives you a bonus in lightning damage and some other things.
It requires Zeus's Thunderbolts, Spectral Matter, and Mechanical Parts, all completed.
Not anywhere near those slimy things yet, but I'll keep a lookout for them to see if I can find some of the relics I need. Thanks.

Spectral matter drops from wraiths also, sandwraith in egypt and in greece near ship wrecks, i think they are called "awakened sailor" or "something sailor". i'm not sure about the name but they do drop spectral matter if you kill like 100 of them

Yeah, just found out about the sand wraith things that come up in egypt.
I'm in Rhodes right now (fifth act for the expansion). So I'd have to actually go back to Egypt to get more Spectral Matter. And I'm debating on whether or not that's worth it considering how powerful I am and what I use.

I found 10 formulas in normal hades and zero in epic orient/egypt/greece farming over 6-8 hours worth. So you might want to capitalize on your formula if it suits your character because it will be awhile before you get a formula of the higher difficulty that suits (unless you have better luck than me).
Its kind of silly that hades has most of the formulas cause at that point you hardly want to go back and seek reagents.
The new caravan trade between character feature helps. That way if you want to bring a new character up (or two) say try some dream mastery junk then you kind of figure you'll find 1 or 2 pieces of spectral matter per character from monsters along that build.

I got the final piece of spectral matter and it was actually in Hades, as (spoiler ahead) many of the undead creatures are incorporeal zombies that almost all of them have a chance to drop spectral matter. HUNDREDS of zombies, it's so beautiful to be honest.
As for the caravan system, it's good as a stash like in diablo 2, but the transfer between characters thing is stupid beyond comparison. The game is assuming that a single hero is all it takes to save the world against the titans, but with the transfer system, in game it's like mixing a parallel universe into a tiny chest of goodies.

I agree but personally I am a builder and a collector. So I have two choices.
1) I can say ahead of time that it is a survival adventure and I need to find gear. Thats self sufficiency.
2) But it is painful when you have farmed and hunted and hunted for hours and find a purple that your character can't use....You want real bad to do something with it.
I think you need a balance. You need some items that are build specific. But you don't need to hand down the same good armor to each epic char you build. So you save pierce spear for a brigand or something but don't have a whole batsuit for him to wear and cruise through the game.
3) I've gotten in the habit of fleshing out my mastery points (points NOT in a skill) early. If you do this you really need some 'hump' gear to be successful before you build your core skills and synergies into the build.
TQ Vault messes with multiplayer imho however...

I have been playing Epic Hades and you will want to hang onto those 10 forumlas you have found AND get the reagents for them. Of the 7 (or so) formulas I have found, mostly in epic, only 1 from epic and 1 from normal use relic shards or monster charms in the formula, the other 5 or so require artifacts. Therefore you may want a good stash of lower level artifacts to be able to create some of the higher level artifacts.
