Hey. I've got a lvl 20 Brigand (hunter/rogue) that is moving along pretty nicely. I've had the fortune of stumbling upon a lot more epic items than I did with a past character while still in Normal mode. Problem is, sometimes I have a really hard time deciding/figuring out which item is better for my character.

Can anyone help me out deciding which of these two shields I should use for the time being?


Hydarnes' Shield

20% Chance to Block 70 Damage
35 Damage

13% Fire Resistance
17% Poison Resistance
+40 Health
+28% Health Regeneration
+10% Movement
-10% Energy Cost

Required Strength: 122


Thornwall

20% Chance to Block 70 Damage
35 Damage

7% Elemental Resistance
+16% Pierce Damage Retaliation
7-11 Piercing Retaliation
+16% Health Regeneration
+2 to Briar Ward

Required Strength: 140

Well,I'd go for the first one,since it has 10%movement speed,you'll find running fast is quite important in this game lol...And it's other adds are OK.

The other has +7% elemental resistance,that's not bad,but all other adds and skills are ***ged up,so leave it be...

The first one. You won't get briar ward from the second one. They treat skill bonuses like in diablo 2, you have to actually have the mastery to gain a bonus in that skill, and since Briar Ward is a Nature skill, it's just not gonna work.

First one it is. I wanted the higher health regen and the movement speed anyways.
