Hi all

Does somebody know how i can stop cheaters from my server if i host a mp.

I know there are so called trainers who you can download and then have infinite attribut and skill points, and i know there are programs whit what you can create custom items.

Does somebody know if there is a way to stop these guys from entering my server?

I think there is some way to inspect another character. I know how to inspect equipment but haven't investigated the other sides. You may have to do some assessment to determine if it is cheating ie crazy stats, items that don't exist,.. I read somewhere that you can even tell how many monsters a character has killed so if they use a trainer for xp it shows.

I don't know how you check for twinked chars but imo thats just part of the game to twink your char as long as its legitimate items. I think that makes it enjoyable as you get to use more cool items rather than yellows and greens. Actually I haven't played much with my 2nd and 3rd twink char. My first found her own stuff.

So thats how you tell IF they are cheating. Now what can you do? Well you can boot them out of the game if you want.

I think your best bet is if you can meet some people who you would like to play with who don't cheat. Then you can have your own exclusive games.
I'm game if you want to play. I'll make a guy who doesn't use twink if thats an issue. Actually, thats something that I had wanted to do.

Tnx for the tip, i found out how to inspect ppl,
and banned some guy who uses 2 items with crazy stats there name was jon's rings, hi was lvl 35 and killed like 10 chars ^^
