Door to Telkine in Changrin city won't let me pass (spoiler sort of)
I should note that I am a TQ veteran and have been playing for awhile so I know what quests need to be done in order to proceed on through the game.
I have already visited the Jade emperor, done all the side quests in the area, but the door refuses to let me pass. It keeps saying "door is sealed by quest"...yet my quests are complete?!?!
I was playing on my own server and earlier somebody popped in and played for awhile on my team, but he was already close to the Telkine in act 3 and he killed him, followed Typhon through the portal, then killed Typhon all while I was still romping around through act 3. Now that I've caught up to his area, the damn door won't let me pass! Am I screwed thanks to a retarded bug?
And before anybody asks, no I can't TP to Olympus, it's still registered as "unvisited" on my TP screen...

Actually, that specific area somehow has had quite a few glitches with any sort of multiplayer gaming.
Best thing I can tell you is to try doing that little deleteing of the files trick in your My Documents/TItan Quest folder, and if that doesn't work out for you, I would guess your character is screwed like the others.

EDIT: If you are referring to the sticky thread at the top, it does not apply as all the .que files are dated the same.
