Hi!
Carol here. Could someone tell me how to kill this Neanderthal Warlord? It is so difficult to get near him since he can't be seen until you actually get too close. He always freezes me with his breath and the rocks kill me before I can move. I am a Battlemage with Earth Mastery and Level 28. Help, please!!!

I'd recommend that you post more on your build that just battlemage at 28th level.

I will say that for spellcasters, he's by far the hardest boss there is, because he comes in fast with a massive amount of damage to start off, and then if he's frozen you, that rock thing is just a coup de grace if need be.

The only thing I can do right now is sympathize with you cause I hate that guy too, especially since when you die from him if you do, you're sent back quite a ways on the miracle fountain thing.

Get some some stun resistance and freeze duration resistance. thats really all he does other than the rocks. and yes i to have died at his hand many times. do u have ur rock minion yet, if so get him to go in head on and you hit him with battle standard and and melee.

i just died couple times on him too and im a templar(defense+dream)

ended up beating him by running around until he uses one of his skills, either the stun or the ice meteor thing. the only way he was killing me was with stun then instant ice meteor kill when i can't even move.

the cool down on either are at least 5 seconds. that means everytime he uses one of his skills, you pound at him for couple hits, then start running again until he uses another skill.

i dont know how much damage his metor thign does but if im caught stunned while its raining down, my 3k life goes away instantly

Find something that has a reasonable stun time on it and then run around him like a madman. You will pick up a pattern after dieing about 12 times. Never EVER attack with a spell unless it is directly after his stun ability because the ice balls take spell casters out for the count.

I dies over a dozen times with my Stormcaller before I finally figured out when to stun him and then strike him with a lightening bolt. Even then I had a few more deaths before I finally beat him.

dodge the stun breath by running circles around him (first kill all the neanderthal minions). Then dodge the rocks.

Once you dodge it once they get out of synche with eachother so subsequent stuns won't result in 1 hit kills from the rocks (hopefully).

Wait for rocks (running circles). when he throws them tank his melee and do some damage to him while drinking potions.

Try to guess when he's going to throw a stun and dodge it. Otherwise hope it is out of synche with the rocks or your dead.

Once he's breathed the stun he's in the danger zone again for rocks so you go into dodge mode untill the rocks.

Then once he's thrown them tank him again and do damage.

Rogue: build traps. He's dead. Spec for traps to beat him.
Hunting: dodge rocks then study prey and beat down
Warfare: dodge rocks tank and kill with some ancestral warriors to help
Defense: dodge rocks colossus shield procs for extra damage
Earth: never played see storm
Spirit: ditto
Dream: dodge rocks and then phantom strike dream steal him
Nature: hope you have another class and cast plague
Storm: dunno but probably elemental damage with staff and some spells

I never actually really had trouble with this guy. 1-2 deaths with each of my characters, but that was mostly because of impatience. Its sorta simple. At level 28, I would hope you have your golem, just send him ahead of you to draw out the Neanderthal. Once you found him, just run in circles until he uses one of his skills. Then use Eruption directly on him and take off in circles again. As long as you stay patient, you can do this pretty easy.
