Broken Arrow - Talon patch

I have palyed DS2 2.2 several times and had no missing dragon problem.

This is the first time I have played the Broken Arrow version and I am having the missing dragon problem.

Does the patch mentioned in some of the responses work with Broken Arrow?

Does the patch work if you have installed the NoCD file? (I own the game, just want to protect the original disk.)
