How to level Up a-34-leveled-dark-naiad ?

i m playing ds2 for a week and never had a thought of an assistant pet
i qualified act 3 and decided to finish aman lu arena . after finishing that quest i bought a dark naiad . it s 34 lvl . but i dont know how to level up it and grow it up to mature age. thx for now.

KillerGremel has have very nice site which details pets fed with different type items armor/weapons/potions. There are also some hints for various pets at the top of the pet page.
[shameless plug] I am also doing some exhausted (and probably useless
) testing on pets fed with different powered items. As has been discussed here
