Help with lan game?

Hey, me and my brother just got ds2, and we want to start a lan game. However we have a problem witch i cant find any solutions to..
if i host the game, he can join the game. He press ready, i press start. I start loading, and can start playing... gets :"Waiting for host to start game"
"Host is ready blabla" then another message saying something like: "waiting for contact with host please wait" and there it stays.
And visa versa
So, we can join eachother game, but we cant start the game, the joined player dont get to loading screen nor into the "game world".
Please help me! thanks.
