weird silver ball things (may have spoilers)

hey guys havnt been on for a wile. just a quick one. when i was exploring a planet i found a ruin with flaoting silver ball. When i clicked on it it told a sotry about the prothens or something. Any idea if there are any more ( if so where are they) or if they are part of a quest?
