Any Problems?

I'm planning on recruiting Finala after I finish elite mode to just have solo super mage mercenary fun,but would there be any problems?
(ok aside from missing out on the "part members have been awarded X skill points each)
(and the fact i'd be unkillable on merc...well,you know any less obvious problems)
