First time around, when I tried to kill the Archmage, everything was fine until my party was wiped out by those skull beam things.

Respawned, headed back to the chamber, but now I can't attack the Archmage. It doesn't get the orange outline when I right-click, and my party can only attack the obelisks when they've been transformed. Plus the Archmage has that strange blue glow that your party gets when you left-click the obelisks (see screenshot for more details!)

Um, help?

i believe that is the effect of him having used the obelisks, like when you do (invulnerable for 15 or so seconds). It never happened to me, but you could try chopping the obelisks and then see what happens to the dead one
