Need help sound cutting out DS:LOA

I need to find out if anyone has a patch or knows where I can get one for the sound cutting out during a game in DS:LOA. I have XP and a new sound card.

What are your system specs? What type of sound card (model and make)? What drivers? In short, post as much detail as you can and we can figure it out.
