Im playing Mass effect for the first time now and Im trying to use the intergalactic map that is in the Normandy ship.

The problem: When I try to open the map the "map" turns black and all I see is a the small blue textsquare in the upper left corner (either "window", "serpent nebula" or "the milky way"), as soon as I right click, the map updates but I it wont stay visible once it finishes loading.

anyone who know, please help, this game seems to ROCK!

alright everyone listen up the one thing you can do to get rid of the problem is make sure your disk is clean! many times, xbox 360 consoles tend to freak out even when there is a little dust on the disk just use luke warm water and some dishwashing fluid (doesnt matter what kind) and use your fingers and rub it all around the disk rinse it off and try it again works for me all the time and your problem should be no more the other solution is is that it just might be a deffective disk if it is well you might need to buy yourself a new one....main probelm with deffective disk are that in the begining xbox and microsoft where having issues when the new counsoles came out meaning you guys probably got the rest of the "runt" disks that where causeing what is called the "red eye of death" on the xbox360's but anyways good luck guys
