I was wondering, I haven't played Titan Quest in a while and we're going to be upgrading our computers here at home, and since I now have a job I was wondering if I should pick up Immortal Throne. Any and all opinions are welcome.

Well you can probably get a good deal on it at amazon or something (used). So it is not much of a loss either way and probably better money spent than the mint for the new games coming out the gate soon. It might give you something to do while the price of sacred 2 is going down and D3 is being developed.
Immortal Throne is a leg up on the vanilla. If you just want to play the content its probably worth it at current prices for the entertainment. If you really like the Titanquest world (I know I have played 30+ chars through normal and 10+ through epic 2 all the way through legendary to Hades...well then it will be an extremely efficient use of your dollar.
I think the action really picks up in Hades. If you found the vanilla game a little easy you will get a challenge in building up enough gear and levels to face off in Hades. The dream class is pretty fun to play and is definitely a 'power class'. There is added items including the artifact.
I probably played 10 hours my first night and then from then on it enhanced my game, indeed.

Yes. This question almost akin to saying, I have Diablo II, should I get Lord of Destruction? Not quite, but still... Besides a new campaign, you get a much-needed stash, a unique and fun new mastery, plus it's pretty cheap on amazon. Highly recommended if you liked the original.

I'm just hoping its not one of those "it looked really good, but when I bought it it was kind of a let down" title's. I got the Diablo battle chest so I didn't have to worry about getting LOD. Before when I was playing TQ on my pc in my room, I would have to pause the game everytime I wanted to click something, so in turn 3 hours of gameplay turned into 5. I ended up quiting the game before finishing Egypt because I couldn't take it. But as I said, we're upgrading and I should be able to play it (I'm not buying IT until I'm sure TQ core works fine).
p.s. I'm planning on getting Mecenaries 2 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed when they come out so TQ would be my "well I've played Merx2 for 7 hours straight and I need a break" game.
