Is there a Titan quest virus w/ crow sounds?

when my computer is idle and the CD isn't even in my computer I get crow screams out of it!!! This should NOT be. someone have an idea what is going on?

try hitting ctrl alt del and looking at the task manager. TQ doesn't need a disc to run. I think that you have a game going in the background. Might explain the lost character if you did something in vault with a game open it might screw something up.

No! beleive it or not I havent had the game up in days!!
I was sooooo angry about losing the stuff I havent loaded a game up in days and shut it down each night and it still crows!! it's insane!! I've never heard of such a thing before. I already looked in my task manager. no appl are playing. I even went into processes and nothing from tittan quest!! it's insane!
Oh and also my TQ will not play without the disk.

Do you have a virus scanner? When my computer goes crazy I just reboot it and there is a choice to do a system recovery. It will whipe out everything on it since you bought it though. It sucks. I had to do that last month.

what if someone managed to pull off a trogan that when you hit trade on the titan Q game it goes over the net to someone who plays? is that possible? would someone go to that much trouble????

Putting a Trojan inside a trading program built into a fully 3D video game (albeit poorly programmed video game) is less likely than you winning million dollar lotteries for five days in a row.
Your Titan Quest won't play without the Disc? Where exactly did you buy this game? There isn't a version of titan quest that doesn't run without the disc, that I know of.

Yes my titan quest was bought at Gamestop and its' the gold edition. The virus turned out to be someone on AIM that changed their buddy sound and they get booted ALL the time so I heard it all the time! LOL
