Hope you can say that to me, because i wanna make my pc as most powerful as a child of Bhaal preserves(wanna single play through BG,TOTSW, BG2 and TOB)

i thought(if correct in memory) +1 ability to each score, except +2 intelligence and +2 wisdom(if i am correct in memory)


p.s: my first post here, so dont say newbie or such as this(played bg, bg2 and tob dozens of times, but now i wanna know this, because i wanna play until the final battle(ascension mod/TOB) which is very hard single handled.

So help me plz

IIRC, there are

2 x Str (I think the second is the one in Durlags Tower, although it could be the Constitution - someone confirm that please)
1 x Dex
2 x Con (Refer above)
3 x Wis (Under Candlekeep and you can scam two off of the Priestess)
1 x Int
1 x Cha

How do you scam 2 off the Priestess (Wisdom Tomes). I know you get the first for the Temple for her in the Lothander Geas quest...

str: catacobs under candlekeep
dex: barrel in thieves guild in baldurs gate
con: cave in wilderness area with the lighthouse
int: The mage tower in baldurs gate (the area with the duchells palace)
wis: 1 in the catacobs under candlekeep, 1 in the baldurs gate on the priest (the male) in the lady luck temple - can be pickpocketed - but there's a quest linked to it. 1 in Durlags tower (TotSC) on the second floor.
cha: in a cave at the Gnoll stronghold.

But in SoA you will have to lose some stats to the demon in you're dream, but gain alot (if you wish) in the final part. And of cource whe have lum the mad in ToB

He'll give it to you freely if you offer to pay enough (shows your desperation). Then you can pickpocket the body of the small boy from the priestess of Umberlee instead of giving her the Tome. Return the body to the boy's father in order to finish the quest.

And all you lose is a single point in any stat you wish.

I went to two caves int he Gnoll stronghold area and couldn't find any tome. I don't have the expansion. Does that have something to do with it? I found the one in the lighthouse area. Is there something I'm missing?...

There are three caves in the bottom of Gnoll stronghold. I think you have missed one with the tome.

Three caves?? Okay...

*trudges back to Gnoll stronghold*

Yeah just look closer to one of the other caves... Two of them are relatively close together... Or look through the walkthrough.

Oh, horror.

Anytime you need a stat boost in charisma, there's the good old Ring of Human Influence.

Hmmm some of you may have missunderstod (or maybe i missunderstod?)... but i ment that you cant pick charisma as a stat to lose to the demon.

I understood One option is choosing a stat that is modified, for instance if you have the gauntlets of dexterity - you could choose dexterity from which to lose a point, since it will be set to 18 by the gauntlets anyway
