all ranged party

Hi everybody. I got a party of 4 rangers and finished mercenary with them. I'm planning on adding another ranged character in veteran because i love ranged combat and Thunderous Shot. Is this a valid choice? Can i finish veteran with 5 rangers and elite with 6 or do i really need versatility?

Heh...
U play as u want man, but if u find a mob or boss that is resistant or immune to ranged attacks (not sure if there is imunity to ranged) u'll be in big trouble.
Also, have at least two classes in ur pty, for versatility hurts noone, and with 4 rangers u already have no need for another. There are only 4 main paths a ranger can take and u have already 4 of them.

I beat veteran using 3 archers, no problem. But Valdis and Broken World's final boss was a bit hard though.
Elite difficulty shouldn't give much problem if you got your dream equps + enough party level, but watch out when you reach final act...

Cool, another range team
Having finished elite with a non-tactical tanks 'n' healers group I'm trying an all range team on Mercenary...so it's nice to see someone else doing the same thing.
Whether it matters, my plan is to get a Naid and possibly a Mythrilhorn for my 5 and 6 characters.
I did, and am doing, fine with both teams so variety is overrated :laugh:

I just finished the game on elite with 5 rangers and a blood assassin and it was pretty easy and alot of fun. With 6 bowmen it feels like i'm a walking machine gun
. The only guys that really gave me trouble were those teleporting miners in the ...mines.

All ranged party really rocks! I completed elite with 4 ranged and a lap dragon (for power recovery and spell immunity solely).In that case you can use repulse continuously on those Uhn miners who so troubled you.Sadly didn't have expansion pack then and now when I have I deleted the character.
