I installed the expansion for the game (immortal throne) and started it but I have not finished the original game yet. When I start the expansion it starts me at the beginning of the game with my charactor who is lvl 11.

I asked around and im told the expansion gives more drops and monsters through the original game. My question is ....should I stop playing on the original cd and start over on the expansion cd so I get extra stuff or will it still be there sense i've installed it even if I play with the first cd.

Yeah, there's new stuff but since everything's randomized for item drops, it's not gonna make that much of a difference if you keep playing the same game.

Since you're level 11 though, I'd imagine you've chosen both masteries. All of them are pretty good but if you're dead set on experiencing everything the expansion has to offer all at once, go ahead and start a new game and choose Dream for your master.

What about when I finish the game on the first cd. Will it just say to put in the expansion and it will continue on to the next chapter in the game?

Play the expansion..

If you want to level up long term and go on to the hardest difficulty, legendary, you will want the bonuses from questing in normal hades. But if you hit level 40 on the original game via epic level, you will be too high level to go back to hades without it being kind of boring.

For example you get +5% Total Damage on a quest in Hades.

Go to titanquest.net and install the fanpatch regarding fixing some bugs too.
