It is possible to play oblivion with a mod but the problem is it required too much sucky things.I didnt see any info about it in the mods section.I dont have all the required links so i am gonna post it here.

First of all u need Oblivion_v1.2.0416 patch which can be found on offcial website.(If u have shimmering isles extension,it has it's own patch at the official site again.)

Second after installing the patch u need to install OBSE 1.6(oblivion script extender)..u need OBSE 1.6 to play oblivion,later versions not supporting it as far as i figure out.If u have shimmering isles expansion u are lucky..just get the latest version.I dont have it yet so i checked all over the net but couldnt find an alive link for 1.6. this is where i fail actually.

OBSE requires the latest patch.

After that u need to install the obse(readme inside tells u how to)..and finally install "oblivionreborn 0.6.9" which adds the multiplayer function.
1 of the Pc's should run the server.exe file

After adding oblivion reborn, open "realmlist.wth" and chance the server IP to ur server pc's IP.It looks like this

keep that "1" above, just mess with the IP line.

After those steps u need to run the game using the "obse launcher"
There is more to learn also..i guess.I am also looking for more info if there is someone experienced about it.

The mods only make other PC's as NPC's, so it is not exactly multiplayer, and anyway, Oblivion would suck as an MMO, half of the game would need to be rewritten, and the graphics cut down by a lot.
My advice, if you want an MMO, play WoW.
