Dualled or Multiclassed???

I got this problem:
As there is no room in my party for any other chars and I working at the PERFECT Party that could be made by selfcreating all 6 charakters.
(it is SoA + ToB, G3 fixpack and some tweaks, some tactics' mods issues and SCSII)
I have a Kensai that Iam going to duall to a mage at level 13, 14 or 15. So I need a character with thiefskills until my kensai becomes a thief. Now I could get a swashbuckler for example and duall him to thief later, when i dont need his thief skills anymore. That way my cleric would be quite weak at all and suck for long times of the game. But isnt there are character combination or a race that alowes MULTIclassing a THIEF/Clecric Iam sure I didnt found this combination by creating all these characters in my life. so is it possible???
Any other suggestions???
(Other characters in party: Inquisitor, Kensai>mage, Blade and Archer)

Swashbuckler is a thief.. You cant dual thief to a thief (unless i miss something) also..

You can dual to only one class...!

Half-orc can become C/T multiclass (and should be your choice cause of racial str bonus. C/T has a terrible, terrible THAC0)

Well, well, well...
of course I wanted to say that the Swash should be dualled to a CLERIC. So i see that the C/T is possible. As you say the THAC0 will be evil evil bad I just assume using "Holy Power" or "Champions Strenght" even if the Str Bonus will be lost that way...
Thank a lot for the fast answer!

That's just for the Cleric/Thief Multiclass. Swasbuckler/Clerics are in fact very strong fighters.

I recommend taking a fighter/thief multiclass (far superior to the dualclass options because of the HLAs) and ranger/cleric, either dualclassed at level 7 or multiclassed (access to both cleric and druid spells and warrior benefits).

While the multiclassed version of the fighter/thief does get more HLAs, you only need to worry about hardiness, maybe Deathblow and Greater Deathblow (unless you're weilding a two handed weapon) as Improved Haste gives the same effect (when dual wielding) and lasts longer.
On the other hand, the Kensai/Thief can easily get a THAC0 high enough to hit everything in the game, get a lower AC than a fighter/thief and the Kai ability. Best of all, the level at which you dual is up to you. If you dual late, you can get a few uses of hardiness, however, if you dual at level fourteen, you can get everything except for Hardiness and lose only one level of thief!

There are 2 other possibilies: I can go with the Swash to 1.100.000 XP so he is level 15. At this moment i duall class him to a cleric. Than I can duall class my kensai at 1.250.000 (13) or 1.500.000 (14) to a thief, so there will be a shot period of time where I dont have thieving skills.
The other way says to duall class the swash at 160.000 (10) and he will regain his abilities at 675.000 exp (level 11 cleric).
i could abuse cheating, creating a multiclass C/T, by changing the T into Swashbuckler. That way I would have a cheated multiclass kit.
