Guys, I'm stuck in Ammon Jerro's Haven and by stuck I mean really really stuck. I convinced 4 of the 5 demons to open a portal to the lab and then I entered it right, so far so good. Then I defeated Ammon's pet and the warlock himself. Now here comes the problem. The animation plays rights to the part where Ammon says "Mephasm" and teleports away. There the animation stops and I'm left in the lab with no way to get out. The portal there doesn't work and there's no other exit. My game is updated to the latest version (1.23 I think) and I have the MoTB and SoZ expansions. Please, any suggestions on how to make this god damn game run properly again will be most welcome.
P.S. I love this game but, seriously, it deservers the "Buggiest game in the universe" award. Apparently even the patches need patches...

A reload is all I can suggest. Preferably just before you enter the portal to fight Ammon.

I already tried that a few times. I even fought the battle without any buffs (I read that this sometimes caused bugs in the animations).

Aren't there any hack or mods or whatever that can fix that problem? I really really really want to complete that game
