I have no idea where to purchase a DVD of Baldur's Gate...
Full Install WAS an option on Baldur's Gate though...in fact I would heartily recommend doing a full install to anyone who plays Baldur's Gate...Switching around the CD all the time is such a drag, and Full Install REALLY speeds things up and simplifies everything!

I can't find it anymore...
I remember seeing it... but it ins't at amazon.com/.co.uk or ebgames.com/eb.uk.com...
I hope that narrows the search down...

Hi Ryuu1999,
Interplay has the DVD version available here http://www.interplay.com/product.asp?GameID=56
Hope that helps.
Alternatively, you can still do a full install; a penny saved is a penny earned

BG has no full install option, but there is a way of avoiding CD swapage. Simply put in each CD (except CD 1) after installation. Copy the directory CD# (#being the CDs number) from the CD into the BG directory. When you have copied in all the directories, open the baldur.ini file using notepad, and change the lines CD2= CD3= (and so on) to point to that CDs folder within the BG directory. You will now only need a single disc to load BG, and everything will be loaded off the HD by the game.

Having the 5 cdrom copy of the game also, I've found that you can play the whole game without switching discs as long as you use the TotSC disc.

Please check the date on this thread - there really is no reason to resurrect a 2001 thread just to tell people to go to Ebay.
