Can't believe there's still stuff left to restore.

Thanks for the new version!
What exactly are the restorations to the Protean warform?

Quite early during doing the patches I replaced the Protean 4 and 5 claws with normal claws plus stat bonuses because they were missing the cool graphical clawing effect. I recently discovered how to add that to those claws themselves and thus restored them for the basic patch with their original stats. I also fixed all claw attacks not being able to perform combinations because the enemy was pushed too far away for the second attack to hit.

What's the difference between Voerman and Wesp's versions of the patches?

Voerman is only doing the German translations of my patch, but many thanks to him for doing so!

Still, I respect your work Wesp, and hope you'll dig everything that's still hidden in this game out

If I remember right, there's not much more to dig out, but I can be wrong here. There are, still, a few tweaks, though, to dialogue, but I think those will come as things progress. Overall, a great patch. And one the no one should go without.

Hi Wesp, thanks for all the wonderful work you have done with this game

.
I thought that this gangrel' power was truly underpowered, and when I installed patch 6.0 I saw your changes and I was glad about it.
Anyway, I should ask you a question about protean, have you changed is power stats to be more powerful, or now is like the unpatched game?
Thanks for attention

As a matter of fact I've just started to go trough the game files looking for unused textures and found quite a lot of cool signs and similar, e.g. from the cut library level. I will try to restore them for the 6.6 version!

With the basic patch it's like in the original game, with the plus patch you get boosted stats to compensate for keeping the first level claws, because I needed the higher ones to restore unused quest items!

crash at Hollowbrook
a friend of mine is playing this game for the first time..and he's experienced a crash at hollowbrok hotel(character=toreador male if it matters)(he has official patch + 6.5 unofficial installed). i don't know if this is caused by the unofficial patch but just thought to let you know in case someone experiences such a crash.

Thanks Wesp5 for the reply, may you write there what are the stats differences between basic and plus?

You can't really compare the stats, because with basic you get better claws while with plus you get higher stats. But I tweaked the stat increase so that in battle the same damage is done.

So then there is no real cap to an attribute, where, say, the better set of claws and ten in unarmed would do more damage than the weaker claws and twenty points in unarmed?

To avoid the stat caps you get strength and unarmed bonuses both when using the weaker claws.

Thanks for answering.
How much is added to strength and unarmed Do you get any bonuses to brawl?
Is there still a point in spending experience to increase strength for a Protean oriented Ganrgrel?

You get strength +4 on Protean 4 and then brawl +8 on Protean 5.

I don't really know but I think strength caps at 15 or something so every additional point still counts.
