Can't find Nikko

Hiya, I'm going through the game again and while I had no problems before, now I'm stuck investigating Suulio's murder. I've talked with Khip, Panar and Qimtiq and now I'm supposed to talk to Nikko but he's nowhere to be found 
Any tips on what to do?
EDIT: Problem solved. Seems that a starport visa mod I had was causing Nikko to disappear
