MOTB Help pls

ok.. Im stuck 
I got past the Woodman section but now i cant figure out what to do. Game guides say Lakeshore is next but i cant get there from my world map and i dont have any quests left to do. Can anyone pls tell me who to talk to next to have my map marker for lakeshore added and or what area connects to there. Already talked to the 3 witches in the main town all they gave me was a amy +5 armour thingy help pls thanks
