hello all,
I have a problem with the songpuzzle.
I can't get more than two of the three sequences completed.
Two of the tentacles on the floor won't light up when I step on it.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
I have already started another save-file, and updated to the latest version but without result.

Thank you!
Johnnie

I've always had problems with this section.

Sometimes the lighting is "gone" once you have "unlocked" that particular grouping. (..and it may not show up at all - but I don't think the lighting is important other than to signify that are standing in the circle. Also, the lights above the door signifying the unlocking of the puzzle for that door are sometimes missing in action as well.

SPOILER (highlight to read):

It takes 2 additional characters to unlock each set of 3. You all must be on each of the 3 related circles to "unlock" that song. Once that's done - repeat for the other 2 groupings.

Hello all,

I've added a picture.
This is the only sequence I can complete.
The two tentacles next to the next to the lowest I've activated don't seem to work.
They won't light up and won't give any sound or song.
I've managed to solve this for 14 hours, but it wont work.
Is it possible it is some kind of bug?

Thank you, Johnnie

The patten changes, so we can't say if one is correct and the other not.

If you get storm build up from a position then it is NOT a correct match.

You should always have song produced.. BUT I have to say that at least one of the groups are barely audible, and another isn't much better.

Go to the bioware forums to see what their response is to your problem. It could be that it is a bug.

You've completed the first stage of the puzzle. You now need to step on the other six tentacles, and leave characters on the three that don't cause damage.

allright, I found something on the Bioware site..

If you haven't complete the puzzle and you are standing on the tentacles with three of your characters, then you safe the game, the puzzle will reset and you can't complete it anymore.

Therefore I'm going to start over with another safepoint and figure out if it is true... off course when I'm off work ;-D

I'll let you know!

I figured out the problem...

I took another safepoint and started over in the priory of the depths.
Now I've finished the songpuzzle within 1,5 minute.
The problem is the safing while standing on the tentacles of the songpuzzle.

Is it possible to add this to the gameplay notes?

Many thanks for your help!
