How many of you played ToSC? I found the add-on to be great.

Actually I have the "TOSC" add-on....but I've never played it......
Completed the original game a couple of times and then I couldn't be bothered to play it any more........

Bought and played it at the same time as BG1.
Loved Durlags Tower (except you needed a Bag of Holding, or Gemsbag/Sroll Case )

I bought it for the sake of exp cap in BG1... And haven't completed whole part yet.

I bought ToTSC with BG1. I finished only Durlag's Tower&Mages isle (not other quests)

I got the expansion and enjoyed it thoroughly. Most of the items I imported into BG2 *ahem* were ToSC items. (I was dammed if Irenicus was going to flog *all* my stuff.

"Oh look, we found some equipment in this room - the b@stard was unable to move or sell it all"

Or how about:

"Minsc, I was surprised at just how much we could hide up your butt"

which items was it you imported?

Plate mail +3 (Durlag's) - awesome armour doesn't count as magical in BG2 (can wear +2 ring/cloak )
Ogres gauntlets (so I can have gauntlets & Crom Faeyr)
Ring of wizardy, Ring of holiness ,ring of protection +2, Cloak of protection +2
long sword +2, warhammer +2, longtooth (I like that dagger )
ring of invisibility, boots of stealth, shadow armour (I'm a fighter/thief)
Bala's battleaxe (dispel)

All sorts of useful cr*p.

that equipment was there in BG2 as well? where was it?

ToSC rocked. From Durlag's Tower to Werewolf Island, the expansion kicks @$$! Let's hope ToB is just as good.

Ogres gauntlets (The Low Lantern ship/tavern - on the "Entropy" women)
Ring of wizardy (Ragefast's Tower), Ring of holiness (I forget),ring of protection +2 (Ragefast's Tower), Cloak of protection +2 (Tomb under candlekeep)
long sword +2 (Nashkel mine entrance -Greywolf), warhammer +2 (Mad priest, Beregost), longtooth (Slythe)
ring of invisibility (Tavern in Ulgoth's Beard), boots of stealth (x3!! - on Hobgoblin South of Beregost, on Hobgoblin East of Beregost, as reward from Dwarf for killing Basilisk in the docks ), shadow armour (Smithy in Beregost)
Bala's battleaxe (Durlag's Tower).

I had loads of other cool stuff but its been a while and my memory ain't what it used to be.

Hmm. You can buy the Longsword and Warhammer +2.
You get the shadow armour from Aran Lindvale.

Bala's Battleaxe and The platemail +3 are not to be found in BG2 unless you import.

i did import, but all i got to keep was those pantaloons...

That's really bad.....i am not able to find the expansion here. I mean, i have BGI and now there's only a special edition including BGI and ToSC....And i don't want to but another BGI.....
So i don't know what to do....

Edwin-At least you do have BG1.I don't have both BG1 and ToSC

Brink, i think i's not impossible finding BGI or both (better)....Where are you from???? My problem is only that i don't want to buy again BGI (and i don't think it's right....) OK i've missed the estension pack when it was available alone, but now it's not good that you can only find the BGI and ToSC togheter...

I have been interested in BG for awhile now, so this weekend I actually UNINSTALLED BGII. It sounds crazy I know, but I just had to start from the beginning. I instantly bought the TOTSC to update, and I am now currently playing. I am at the Mage's castle outside of Beregost, and I am playing a thief. I cannot believe how hard it is, but it is GREAT!
