City elf vs Human noble origins

Hey, without spoiling anything, can the people who have finished the game (or are a good ways in) with these origins help me out? I'm probably only going to play DA once this year, and really am attracted to both these origins. Which one ties in more to the main story, and which origin comes up more and affects the game? I already know the plots of the origins, so no need to explain that part. Gracias.

All six origins tie in equally well.
Biggest difference between the two you mention: You get Dog (Mabari War Hound) much earlier. And Nobility does have decent armor/weaponry.

That's not quite true. Actually, not true at all. The biggest difference between the two imho is the story progression. One point in the story in particular, but since he asked for no spoilers I'm not giving him any
I'd go for noble if you intend to play a pure good guy and for city elf otherwise. It also depends on how you want to be seen and addressed by the people you meet throughout the game. As an elf, you'll be a bit of an outcast while you're widely respected as a noble. Some people even recognize you.

OMG you have to play a good guy if you're noble ? :speech: That walkthrough was boring enough as it is already.

No, you don't. You can be the pain in the butt even when playing the noble. It's just that from those two options, noble fits better if you want to play totally good guy.

Actually, your origins do get noticed thruout the game. Each Origin gets a different play-thru, true, but... The summary is: Day starts as normal, shortly followed by some event (which is different for each), and Duncan comes and saves you by offering a position in the Wardens. The WAY this happens is different, but basically boils down to the same thing. Except that Human Nobles get the Dog Companion earlier than any other (by doing a quest).
